Expectant and New Parents Dog Training Classes

Having a new baby can be a very exciting and stressful time for you and your dog.

For many people their dog has been their baby.The classes I offer help to prepare you and your dog for the arrival of the new baby, well before baby is born.

This will help to avoid problems later on. Dogs are great fun and good company and most dog bites are preventable. People just need the right tools. To keep everyone happy and safe.

The course covers:
Safety for both dog and baby
Training cues to teach your dog
How to walk and exercise your dog with baby in tow. Including walking with the buggy.
Desensitizing your dog to sounds, smells & new things, such as baby buggy, toys etc

Its important your dog knows basic obedience commands and listens to you.

I will be offering two courses:

1. Full basic obedience along with the preparation course. 4 x 1 hour sessions

2. Refresher obedience course (suitable for trained dogs) along with preparation course. 2 x 1 hour sessions

Both courses include FAQ sheets and on going support via email, text & phone, even after baby is born.

While it is ideal to start these courses before baby is born. Please call me, if you find you need help after baby is born.
